Ruff Creek

      Since 1997, Ruff Creek has been rocking the Pittsburgh area with their high octane country sound; from headlining at popular bars and clubs throughout Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio to opening for national artists. With a jam packed schedule that includes approximately 200 shows per year and an ever growing fan base, Ruff Creek captures the rhythm of the music with a steady sound and electric energy.

Fronted by lead vocalist and acoustic guitarist Devon Johnson, Ruff Creek also features Bobby Curti, guitar/vocals; Don Pruse, bass guitar/vocals; Gary Jacobs, steel guitar and Mark Knapp, drums.

Their second CD, ..No Regrets.., has received favorable reviews from the industry and the media. All twelve tracks epitomize the long journey that Ruff Creek has endured; touching on the accomplishments, disappointments, heartaches and thrills that come with turning your dream into a reality.

Recently, the band performed an Industry Showcase at the renowned 12th & Porter in Nashville, Tennessee for reps from major and independent record labels, booking agents, and members of the local media. Their music is currently on rotation at a variety of Pittsburgh area radio stations, including Froggy FM, WBUT and WANB.
