However you or your family choose to enjoy nature, whether it be hiking, camping, hunting, bird watching, or just looking out the window of your home, understanding and preserving the delicate balance between mankind and nature itself is a shared responsibility.

The National Whitetail Deer Education Foundation, through the Deerassic Park Education Center and the Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame Museum, promises a unique and innovative approach through its many programs and learning experiences. It is very important that all of us be well informed to the facts in order to ensure a greater understanding of balanced interaction between humans and nature.

The Ohio Whitetail Hall of Fame Museum, on the grounds of the Deerassic Park Education Center, will house a collection of whitetail deer mounts and antlers that have been accumulated since the mid 1970s and is considered the largest collection of world class whitetails ever assembled.

Visitors will view some of the most magnificent examples of whitetail bucks in the world. Educational dioramas will depict life of the whitetail deer and demonstrate the importance of this animal throughout our country’s history.

The museum complex would also include a collection of ancient Native American artifacts, modern-day flint-knapping artifacts, a gift shop, restaurant, and other facilities.
